Mr. Jim McCubbin
Welcome to the website for the various classes that I teach at Skyline High School. Please visit my website often, the time you spend with the resources here will help you immensely in my classes.
Who am I?
I am entering my 18th year teaching social studies. I graduated from the California State University, Fresno in 1995 with a Bachelor's Degree in History. After teaching for several years I enrolled in and completed a Master's Degree in Social Studies Education from Boston University in 1999. After teaching Economics, US History, and Government in California for seven years I moved my family to Idaho Falls where I have taught for the last seven years. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University. I am very interested in how access to educational technology outside of school affects student performance on standardized tests. I thoroughly enjoy my profession and I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals here at Skyline High School.
